#Escape the Ordinary

We want to share our thoughts along this journey as we #EscapeTheOrdinary, meet some amazing people, and enjoy life at Rockwall Escape Rooms.

The Joy of Escaping

Garret and Jenna Carruth - Monday, June 20, 2016

Being a GameMaster at an Escape Room is an amazing job! We get to bring friends and family members together in a unique, fun experience. One of the best parts is being able to watch and listen to these interactions from behind the cameras and monitors! We have had so many awesome groups come through our doors so we get to witness so many fun and joyful moments! We wanted to share a few of our most memorable moments and quotes:

“I don’t need a snack. I need a letter!”

“I almost got grounded in the escape room!”

“I’ll keep looking in the Bible- it has ALL the answers!”

“There’s a repair man outside- maybe he can help us?!”

“We don’t have enough letters to spell LOSERS!”

Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to show you the incredible victory dances we see when a clue is found or a lock is opened.

No matter what trials you are facing- whether you are locked in a room, or a trial in your real life- remember to find the moments of joy in any circumstance. Because when that trial ends (and it will!), you will have learned so much! James 1:2-4 says it the best: “ Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
